When Freeze Tells You To Masturbate Only A Little....

So this afternoon, I strolled by Instagram to have a little look around and saw a post by daddyfreeze on my timeline of a young man who wanted to know what he thought about masturbation being a sin.
Reading through the post, I see that Freeze, in analysing this issue, draws inferences from science. He rationalises the fact that science has proven that men who do not ejaculate often are prone to having prostrate cancer and further questions how he can be asked to not empathise with a widow who, though longs for relations with a man, is unable to get any as no one wants her after having had six children and because of this, she has had to resort to using a sex toy to pleasure herself. He further mentions the many men of God from the old testament who had many wives and concubines and concludes that the he would recommend that, like drinking, one masturbates with caution so as not to get addicted to it.

I read the comments on this post and saw people hailing him for writing the "truth" and, though I had been about to go into a meeting, I quickly leave a comment against this post to the young man that read along the lines of,
"Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and should be treated as such. The Holy spirit in you is the reason that you feel guilty and filthy when you masturbate or commit sin as he convicts you and this is good! When you get to a point where you feel nothing when you sin, then you need to realise that the Holy spirit has left you and you would need to pray to get back that fellowship with him. I haven't got any handy verses to buttress my point but I will come back with them when I leave my current location but I had to quickly leave this here so that no one is misled- your body does not belong to you but to God and the Holy spirit dwells in it and so not everything is permissible. I have to commend you for wanting to live by the precepts of God and I will encourage that you continually study the Word, asking for wisdom and understanding, and that you listen to Christian messages from men of God- not the prosperity preaching ones- the "holiness" preaching ones because without Holiness, we cannot see God. I would recommend listening to Pastor Kumuyi- he is a great preacher! Stay blessed!".

I immediately see a notification a few minutes later from freeze saying that he could not allow my comment on his page and he took it off. This got me thinking, what was his annoyance? I was at a proper loss for what to think for a second as I couldn't see what it was in my comment that would warrant it to not be "allowed", It had not been disrespectful or irrelevant, it was rather straight to the point, what, then, was the problem? The fact that I stood against masturbation? Or that I encouraged him to study God's Word? Or was it because I recommended he listen to the teachings of a preacher? One who preaches holiness too? What was it?

There is nothing as irritating as a person who thinks their opinion about anything is bible- I mean, other people should express what they think and you don't have to accept it or even respond to it but there will always be a dissenting view on any given point and this is allowed. I went back to leave a comment and saw someone say the exact same thing I had said only couched differently and this was left- so I imagine he either thought better of deleting dissenting comments as they eventually began coming in after the first set of obsequious fawners had finished leaving comments or he didn't like me talking about a preacher. If it is the former, then it is worrisome that someone who takes the time to show us posts of people that were "touched" by his often warped sermons cannot stomach a dissenting opinion. If it is the latter then, that's saying a lot really.... No one can accuse pastor Kumuyi of being a "yahoo-boy" or of not living according to biblical precepts so we should really worry about why you don't want his name mentioned around you yet you stay chasing after the pastors who are questionable. Clearly, light and darkness cannot mix.

Anyway, not to derail the point, masturbation is a sin. The bible doesn't expressly talk about A LOT of sins doesn't mean that they aren't sins. The bible doesn't expressly say that smoking, suicide, doing drugs, watching pornography etc are sins but does that make them less sinful? More permissible?  The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and you should not defile this temple. Smoking kills, doesn't it? So you would destroy God's temple?

I'll just list a few verses of the bible to support this: I won't elaborate on them but will leave you to read it and look at it in the light of what is being discussed;
  1. 1Corinthians 6:19; What? Know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
  2. Romans 8:9; But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his
  3. 1Thessalonians 5:19 and 22; 19- Quench not the Spirit, 22- Abstain from all appearance of evil.

A lot of times, masturbation goes hand in hand with lustful imaginings and not necessarily of one's spouse either. This is the lure that leads people to yield themselves to the destructive tentacles of pornography. Look, all of these things are addictive and destructive and are all the devices the devil uses to hold you bound. Pornorgraphy destroys you in ways you need to be aware of; please click the link below to read more about how it affects your marriage.

I do not know why anyone who believes in God and has a platform / a voice would advise a youth to "masturbate just a little as long as you don't do too much! Afterall, your yahoo-boy of a pastor has a side piece in the choir right there and Solomon had 1000 concubines so, not so much so you don't open yourself up to sexual spirits but, just enough so you do not get prostrate cancer!", what is wrong with you sir?

Anyway, I hope this write up helps someone who is torn about this. The one thing I will advise is, it doesn't matter what I write here or what you read elsewhere, the main point is; TEST every doctrine you receive by studying the Word of God for yourself. Sometimes, a lot of times, you do not receive the understanding just yet but stay patient and quieten your mind: understanding will come.

I am not writing this as a person who doesn't fall or who hasn't ever fallen, I have. I, like every other Christian, have my own shortcomings that I am working hard, with God's help, to overcome so we are all in this together and striving towards perfection but I will not sit and watch such an obvious direction  being perverted- No. I see a lot of Christ-hating and Christianity-arm-twisting going on and I am not surprised because it was prophesied that this would be the case but when these twistings come in this guise at your doorstep, I do believe we believers need to step up to the plate and provide clarity. I saw this on a page yesterday and most people said the main "culprit" was Christ; these are end times my friends, let us be watchful at all times and not get carried away with these coveners who cook things up in their little powerless covens and want to mislead the youths. If you stand firm, they call you ignorant and closed minded, telling you that Christianity was handed down to Africans as a form of slavery- please do not listen to this as this is also another lie of the devil! The gospel came to us and has saved us who are believers. You are not ignorant, you are saved!

May God help, protect and direct us in Jesus name. Amen.
Stay blessed my friends and a Happy new year to you!

Wishing you love and light throughout this year🙏🙏🙏

Love Always,

P.s: 2 Timothy 4:3;  For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables.
