A little Enya for the evening...... Caribbean Blue

Before Yanni, for me, there was Enya.
There was Enya for a looonnnnggg time.

She stayed with me for not a few years and I didn't know when I got weaned off her really.... I think it was partly because I felt her music moved me a little too much and yet, I couldn't tell, if I were asked, what "influenced" her music. It began to seem a tad too "mystical", unlike Yanni who is a pianist like no other. I mean, she sang about stars whispering, the Celtic mysteries, the echoes of the rain and a whole lot of mysterious chit. Although I tend to think that way myself too but, in hindsight, I think I tended to "think that way" because her music began to influence my imagination (or maybe because of the plenty literary works I'd read, not sure)- till date, I still feel a connection to nature- to trees, to the night: skies, stars, etc, to the sound of the rain....
So I stayed off for a while....

Strolled by youtube and stumbled on one of my favourites around the time I finally got weaned off her- Carribean Blue- do you see how whimsical and mystical it is though?
Another one of my favourites is Storms in Africa- you can check that out too.

Hope you like :)

Love...
